Green Tea is something that has been used for all types of health reasons, and used as a drink by the Chinese for more than 3000 years, and is one of the herbals that has been researched. This type of tea has been found to have antioxidant properties, anti-inflammatory properties, and chemicals known as polyphenols. This is botanically known as Camellia Sinensis, and research has found that there might be evidence that it can help fight some types of cancers, and prevent free radicals that can damage the body. Use in weight loss as an herbal, it is not a miracle weight loss potion, but some research has shown that the caffeine content and the polyphenols might help. This is because green tea properties are able to assist in reducing fat digestion, and is able to do this by inhibiting digestive enzymes. Since green tea is not a miracle weight loss product, eating properly and exercising will still need to be a part of the diet plan. |
