Drinking water does not have a cure to the weight losing magic, but it sure can help you lose unwanted pound if you consume it correctly. 

If you are drinking water because you have been told that it will burn body fats because it speeds your metabolism, then have been told wrong and drinking the water for a wrong reason. Yes, water does have some very important functions to your body and we just could not survive if we did not have it, but it is no miracle worker that burns the calories. 

Indirectly, water can help you shed those pounds. Replace all those high calorie sodas and teas, for the water. This will help you to cut back on some of those unneeded calories. 

Drinking just 3 cups of a soda on a daily basis is 300 calories by itself. If you replaced it with only 2 cups of water per day, you would save 200 calories on a daily basis.
